FRAGRANCE REVIEW: STRONGER WITH YOU ABSOLUTELY by Emporio Armani

2020 was a shocking year for fragrance releases; everything was put on hold and only the odd new scent was released. However so far 2021 has started off incredibly well, firstly with Tom Ford bringing out Costa Azzurra to their signature collection and now Emporio Armani has released ABSOLUTELY to their ‘STRONGER WITH YOU’ offering.

The captivating love story continues with this new fragrance. This incredible (and in my opinion the best of the stronger with you offering) scent opens with a new, fresh, and intoxicating facet: a subtle rum accord that blends with bergamot and then elemi, a resin-like scent to reveal a fresh, spicy, and ambery aspect. The heart of the fragrance combines davana with its aromatic, liquorous and fruity facets, and Diva lavender heart, to create a powerfully aromatic appeal. At the base, the sweetness of a glazed chestnut accord is intensified by smoky cedar wood. Uniting with these notes are vanilla extract from Madagascar and patchouli.

On testing this fragrance, you’ll get about 5 hours sillage (the time in which the fragrance will project and linger in the air), however I could smell the fragrance on my skin for much longer, at around 7-8 hours.

Stronger With You Absolutely follows Armani beauty’s sustainability promises with ingredients being derived from sustainable and traceable sources. The vanilla is sourced in Madagascar as part of Armani beauty’s solidarity sourcing program to support local communities. The Diva lavender heart, is sustainably sourced in France.

 The fragrance was created by perfumer Cécile Matton and holds the key notes:          

Rum accord that blends with bergamot

Davana and Diva lavender heart from France
Glazed chestnut accord
Smoky cedar wood
Vanilla extract from Madagascar and patchouli
