The most EYE Catching Watch: Zbioland Luxury Watches

Catching my eye this week on the watch radar, is the Snake watch by Zbioland Luxury Watches. The name of the brand is terrible, but the innovation of the watch is next level. Has there ever been a better 'what's that?' than a snake chain moving around the cogs of your watch bezel? Looking at the Kickstarter launch it had 9 backers who pledged 14.5k of a 11.4k total. I do love a success story on Kickstarter, not many of those about these days.

So how to activate SNAKE movement?

Activate the Running Snake with a simple press of the upper button, and watch bezel winds the power behind its motion. Start, stop, and control the rhythm of mechanical precision. Non-stop running takes about 60 seconds. About 5 cycles.

Feedback

The watch is to be released in May 2025, and so user feedback won't be online as yet. However, the Zbioland Luxury Watches YouTube channel has already mustered up some visceral opinions, mainly positive. Some negative, some critical such as below;

Should not have had the hour and minute markers in the Centre. Use the snake rather as the hour indicator. The grey under the snake should be pitch black, making the rotors look more subtle- as if the snake was gliding by itself. The centre circle would look better with a very strong Guilloché. The minute hand can be more subtle - possibly a floating hand with just the arrow point showing. In total this will

make the watch look more mysterious and intriguing - with people wondering how the time is told.

My thoughts

Some people online aren't a fan of the vibrant green fume dial (see above), but I think it is the colour of the snake and I love it. The hands are titanium painted in rose gold, that matches the snake chain and gives it a nice pop. If I were flush I'd buy this just to show people at the summer BBQ's.
